🐝 SWPBS – School-Wide Positive Behavior Support

At Pleasant Hill Elementary, our School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPBS) program encourages and recognizes students for making positive choices throughout the school day.

Students can earn recognition for positive behaviors such as:

  • Being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn
  • Following school and classroom expectations
  • Showing kindness and respect to others
  • Making safe choices
  • Helping classmates and staff
  • Demonstrating good citizenship
  • Showing effort and a positive attitude

Students in Pre-K through 8th grade participate in our Buzz Buck Reward System. 🐝 Students earn Buzz Bucks when they demonstrate positive behaviors and meet school expectations. Students can enter their Buzz Bucks into weekly and quarterly prize drawings for opportunities to earn fun rewards and prizes.

In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in special nine-week behavior rewards for consistently meeting school-wide behavior expectations. These celebrations may include field trips, extra recess, special activities, and other fun incentives throughout the school year.

Through SWPBS, our goal is to recognize students for doing the right thing while creating a school environment where everyone feels safe, supported, respected, and ready to learn.
